September 23rd 1868, is traditionally celebrated and commemorated as the birth of the Puerto Rican nation, when Puerto Ricans rose up against Spanish colonial rule in a revolt know as El Grito De Lares. 

On September 23rd of 2005 Filiberto Ojeda Rios, leader of the Puerto Rican People's Army, Los Machetero’s, was assassinated by the US government in an attempt to kill the spirit of the Puerto Rican liberation struggle. 

On September 23rd of 2006 A Nation Will Rise Again!....

Then on sunday Sep 24th at 2PM,   join the December 12th Movement for a celebration of   the Life ofFiliberto Ojeda Rios Puerto Rican Patriot, founder of Los Macheteros,
